Mellors Catering Services is the nominated contract caterer for the two academies in the North East and agreed to donate 5p for every bottle of still water sold to the academies chosen charity.
The Water for Kids charity helps young people have access to safe water for the first time and held a reception at the House of Commons in December to mark the 20 years they have been established.
Mellors Catering Services attended the event to present the cheque.
