After a break for the summer, our Big Red Bus is back on the road and in West Lancashire throughout September!
This month its visiting lots of schools, starting with Delph Side Community Primary in Skelmersdale. It will then be continuing on to other schools, including Lordsgate Township Church of England Primary in Burscough and Tarleton Community Primary.
The team behind the Big Red Bus and everyone else at Mellors are also celebrating after it was shortlisted for a 2019 Educatering Excellence Award in the Innovation category. This category seeks to recognise a caterer working in the education sector for an innovative idea or project that brings something different to their offering and the Big Red Bus certainly does that! The Awards Ceremony takes place at the beginning of October, so watch this space to see if we scoop the top prize.
Keep an eye out for the Big Red Bus as it travels around West Lancashire's roads over the next few weeks and give bus driver Carol a wave if you spot her...beep beep!
