On Sunday, 10 members of the Mellors team took on the 2021 Great Manchester Run in aid of the wonderful charity, Zoe's Place. A massive well done to Mark Lyons, Jenny Lenton, Jo Timmerman, Jo's husband Matt, Laura Whiting, Danielle Watkins, Ethan Anderson, Laura Norfolk, Mark Timmerman and Mark's wife Jana for your fundraising efforts and for your achievements on the day!
Operations Manager, Mark Lyons conquered the Manchester Half Marathon, while the others took on the 10k race. Everyone involved had a fantastic day, cheered on by their supporters, and some even managed personal bests.
The team have spent the last few months training hard for the day, alongside fantastic fundraising efforts which saw them raise a whopping £3,235 for our nominated charity Zoe's Place Baby Hospice.

Special mention to Development Chef Mike Stroud, who trained for the 10k and did a great job of fundraising but unfortunately couldn't join the rest of the team on to day due to unforeseen circumstances. Mike was missed and will hopefully join the team next year.
