Mellors Catering have contributed through a number of ways from Collection tins at various locations, fundraising days, fundraising events such as It’s A Knockout, their Christmas Balls such as the one hosting Christmas just gone as a Casino Royal theme!
Onto our next big project! Mellors are getting ready to launch the Big Red Mellors Bus, visiting your site soon (subject to low bridges, of course!). Pictured here is Danielle Watkins (Mellors Company Nutritionist) behind the wheel. The Big Red Mellors Bus will be offering an additional fun service point for customers or can be used as a space for nutritional workshops in the 32 seat upper tier.
Mellors announces the promotion of Andy Walker to Operations Manager! Andy began his journey with Mellors as an Area Support Manager in 2008, and has proven himself to be a most effective asset to the Mellors business ever since. First promoted to Area Manager in 2013, he has now been promoted to Mellors 4th Operations Manager looking after the Sheffield and Southern Yorkshire / Staffordshire areas. Congratulations Andy…. stunning work.
Busy times for the new Academic year with… how many new openings!?!

Mellors is expanding by around 10% year on year- we have come a long way since the journey began back in 1995. This September witnessed the largest mobilisation period to date, with over 250 clients entrusting us to run the catering operations in their schools, colleges and staff restaurants – 257 to be exact, with 43 new sites onboard.
Catering managers Lisa and Lea cooked and presented a fabulous curry buffet for us last week for our Principal’s leaving lunch. It was absolutely stunning and an extremely tasty menu and I felt that I could not let this pass without giving them both the accolade they deserve.
