Prescott Farm in Lancashire is situated within 170 acres of splendid countryside, overlooking the Formby pine forests and Irish sea. The Prescott family are 3rd generational farmers, producing a wide range of tasty vegetables, including cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage, swede and Brussel sprouts.
They grow several crop varieties which are harvested at different points of the season, so they have a plentiful and consistent supply of high-quality produce. The carefully selected range of crop varieties allow the farm to operate continuously all-year round carefully nurturing each crop to ensure maximum quality and flavour.
These vegetables are a versatile ingredient or side dish for any lunch time menu. They can be included as part of a roast dinner, heavenly cauliflower cheese, soups or even used to make coleslaw! Love them or hate them, it wouldn’t be a Christmas dinner without Brussel sprouts on the plate!
The Prescott family have been supplying Mellors for over 2 years with deliciously fresh and nutritious produce. Farming knowledge has been passed down from one generation to the next, ensuring the farm is operating efficiently and effectively.
Prescott Farm have partnered with Dole, the world's leading fresh produce provider who are committed to supporting responsible farming practices. They supply all of their produce through Dole for better continuity and price.
